Daily Water Use files
Probe for Windows and PR41 can use crop water use values saved in DWU format files. The values are the water use rate at different days of the year, and can come from models or calculated from soil moisture measurements.
The software is shipped with some dwu files, but users are encouraged to create their own after they have taken some measurements, or to enter values apprpriate to their crop and region.
You will need to use DOS Edit for
PR41 file, but Probe for
Windows enables you to edit dwu files,
and you can also use formulas to multiply by crop factors.
